What to Expect The Program

A 4 month program that pairs dancers with complementary goals and skill sets for the purpose of learning and community building.

In this program anyone can be a mentor or mentee (you can apply for both). We encourage folks of all levels to apply — whether you’ve been dancing for 3 months or 10 years we believe everyone has something to offer.

The Application Process

To participate in Swing Mentors you will need to complete the application form linked below by January 27th, 2025 at midnight PST.


The entire application should take roughly 1.5 hours to complete and can not be saved half way through. Please give yourself the time and space needed to fill out the entire form.

While we will do our very best to match mentors and mentees, please understand that we may not be able to accept all applicants to the program. We are honoured that you chose to apply and we encourage you to apply again in the future.

Mentors and Mentees Commitments

  1. Commit to at least one mentorship session per month between February 15, and June 15, 2025.
  2. Have realistic and tangible goals that can be achieved within a mentorship session.
  3. Mentees are expected to be proactive about contacting their mentor and setting up mentorship sessions.

Program Cost

If accepted, the program cost is $100 per mentee. All funds raised will go to the cost of running the program, community events, and dances.
